Tandoori Fries w/ Avocado Lime Sauce

Spicy fries served with a fresh and creamy avocado lime sauce!

Ingredients

Fries

  • 4 medium sized potatoes (about 540 grams)
  • 1 tbsp canola oil
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/8 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp amchur
  • 1/8 tsp turmeric
  • 1/4 tsp salt I made mine with 1/2 a tsp and I thought it was a little too much .

Avocado Lime Sauce

  • 1 avocado
  • 1/3 c yogurt
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 lime
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1/4 jalapeƱo

Instructions

  • Peel and chop potatoes into medium size fries and place in a bowl. Add in oil and all spices and mix well, until evenly coated.
  • Place fries into an air fryer at 400 degrees for 15-18minutes. I recommend splitting up the fries into two batches. Make sure to shake your basket half way through the cooking process in each batch so that the fries are cooked evenly and crispy on all sides.
  • For the avocado sauce, simply place all sauce ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth.
