Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer for best texture.Freezing: Assemble but don’t bake. Wrap tightly in foil and freeze up to 2 months. Bake directly from frozen.Ingredient Swap: Substitute Italian loaf, sourdough, or ciabatta if preferred. For extra richness, add a small spoonful of cream cheese to the spread.Variations: Try it spicy with chili flakes, herby with Italian seasoning, or sweet-savory with truffle honey. You can also make mini versions using dinner rolls or baguette slices.
