Hi! I’m Shreya!

I began creating recipes in the midst of quarantine, when I found myself feeling unproductive, anxious, and unstimulated within the four walls of my home. I began cooking more and more since going out to restaurants was no longer an option. Quickly, what I had often looked at as a tedious chore became my primary source of happiness throughout the day.

Long story short, what started as a simple quarantine-induced hobby, has now flourished into an all-consuming passion.

i Used to be a lawyer


Before embracing my love for cooking, I was a lawyer! ( I technically still am, I guess. I’m barred in two states – California and Washington) I swapped legal briefs for recipes in April of 2023, and decided to follow my true passion for cooking. Now, I get to create delicious dishes and share my love for food with all of you!

i Have a passion for street food

Obsession or passion? You decide. My heart belongs to street food and all things spicy! I believe some of the most exciting flavors come from a food carts or stalls, and I draw inspiration from these dishes in my own recipes often.

Charlie is my best friend


Say hello to Charlie, my goldendoodle and sidekick! He’s my favorite (and only) co-worker. He enjoys long walks in the park, stealing food off of kitchen counters, and plush chew toys. Heโ€™s a part-time sous-chef and a full time menace to society – and I love him with all my heart.
