This crispy gochujang tofu is the perfect balance of spicy, sweet, and savory. Made in the air fryer for a light yet crunchy texture, it's a quick and flavorful way to enjoy Korean-inspired tofu in under 20 minutes!

Gochujang Sauce:
1/2tsprice vinegar – Adds a little acidity to brighten the flavors.
2tbspgochujang – A spicyslightly sweet Korean red chili paste.
1tbspmaple syrup – Balances the heat with a touch of sweetness.
1/2tspsesame oil – Adds a nutty depth of flavor.
1tspsoy sauce – Enhances the umami richness.

Instructions
Prep the Tofu: Pat your tofu dry with a paper towel. You can also press the tofu for about 15 minutes, but that's optional. Then, break apart the tofu into bite-sized pieces.
Coat the Tofu: In a bowl, toss the tofu with cornstarch and oil until evenly coated.
Air Fry the Tofu: Place tofu in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400°F for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Make the Sauce: While the tofu cooks, mix gochujang, maple syrup, sesame oil, soy sauce, and rice vinegar in a small bowl.
Coat the Tofu: You can either (1) Transfer crispy tofu to a bowl, pour the sauce over, and toss until evenly coated., and serve immediately! Or, (2) you can add the sauce and tofu into a skillet with another 2 teaspoons of oil, and sauté for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Garnish: Sprinkle sesame seeds generously over the tofu and mix well before serving.

You can serve this tofu with plain rice, noodles, or in a lettuce or tortilla wrap!
