If you love fruity, refreshing desserts, strawberry sago is about to be your new favorite treat! This creamy, chewy, and slightly bouncy dessert is packed with strawberry flavor and the perfect mix of textures.
Sweetened condensed milkto taste (I recommend using about ⅓–½ of a 14-ounce can)
4large strawberriesroughly chopped
Ice
Instructions
Cook the Sago: Bring a pot of water to a boil and add the small tapioca pearls. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Cook for about 10–15 minutes or until the pearls become translucent. Drain and rinse under cold water. You can also transfer the pearls to a bowl of ice water to prevent them from sticking together.
Assemble the Drink: In a mixing bowl, combine the strawberry milk and sweetened condensed milk. Stir well and adjust the sweetness to your liking. Keep in mind that the ice will dilute the mixture, so you'll want the milk on the sweeter side! Then, add the cooked sago, nata de coco, popping boba, and chopped strawberries. Pour the sweetened strawberry milk over everything.
Enjoy! Add lots of ice, give everything a final stir, and enjoy your homemade strawberry sago!
